3. Checking availability of domain names
The best method of checking Domain name availability is through Netnames:
http://www.netnames.co.uk/dnrs/netnames.client.Login
Enter Domain Name eg. mycompany (do not enter a domain extension)
Search for International and UK domains
Results will come back depending on the extensions you tick.
NetNames will also allow you to lookup who owns the domain and usually their
contact details.
